ST. PAT'S. OLD BOYS WIN
"St. Patrick's College Old Boys scored the easiest win in the senior A grade by defeating'iUpper Hutt by 27 points to. 6 at Maidstone Park. The game was of a rather poor standard, the only bright patches being supplied by the winners, who' occasionally opened out in bright movements. At half-time St. Patrick's led by 14 points to 3.; For St. Patrick's tries were scored by Johns (2), Phillips, O'Connor, McCarthy, and Hart. McGuinness converted three tries and kicked a penalty goal. Anderson, scored, a try and kicked a penalty goal for Upper Hutt.
