SENTENCE FOR ASSAULT
(By Telegraph.—Press Association.) CHRISTCHURCH, This Day. At the Supremo Court, as a sequel to the relief works fatality, Clarence George Gibson, aged 43, a married man, for assaulting George Christopher Johan Bank, was sentenced to seven days' imprisonment. As the sentence starts at the beginning of The session, only one day remains to be sorvod.
