INVENTOR DEMONSTRATES
LONDON, May 5., The "Daily Express" says-that the inventor, Scnor de la Cierva, during an autogiro demonstration, astonished Air. Ministry officials. Taking off after a run of under five; yards, the autogiro hovered at a height of 100 feet, then flew at a speed of 100 miles an hour. When throttled the antogiro dropped vertically to about twelve feet from the ground, and when the engine was opened out continned its flight.
