BODY-LINE ROWLING
ENGLISH COUNTY CRICKET
- WHAT WILL M.C.C. DO?
(Received May 3, 10 a.m.) LONDON, May 2. County cricket opens tomorrow, and the newspapers arc wondering whother Larwood will adopt body-line bowling. Tho "Mirror" considers that the M.C.C. is certain to reject the Australian rule, as' acceptance would be tantamount to the admission that the Englishmen resorted to unfair tactics, which is unthinkable. The rule is unnecessary in England because it has never been suggested hero that any bowler/ intends to injure' tho batsman. >
