WHALE—GOODIN.

The wedding took place on .Easter Saturday at the Methodist Church, Karori, of Rita Thelnia, only daughter of Mr. and Mrs. A. Go'odin, Beauchamp Street, Karori, and Frank, eldest son of Mrs. Whalo and tho late Mrc A. Whale. Tho Rev. Mr. Blair was the, officiating clergyman. The bride, who was escorted by her father, wore a beautiful close-fitting gown of ivory satin. Her embroidered veil was arranged beneath a coronet of orange blossoms. She carried a bouquet of cream gladioli and roses. The bridesmaids, Miss Marjorie Goodin and Miss Dorothy Lowe (cousins of the bride), wore gracefully frilled frocks of green organdi, with soft straw hats to tone; their bouquets were of roses and carnations. Tho little flower-girl, Miss Ngaire Lowe (cousin of the bride), was dressed in a dainty frock of eau-de-nil organdi, with a Juliet cap to match; her small posy was of pink rosebuds. Tho bridegroom ' was attended by his brother, Mr. L. Whale, as best man, and Mr. B. Goodin as groomsman. The reception was held in the Scouts' Hall, Karori, a hundred guests being present. Mrs. Goodin, mother of the bride, wore an ensemble of navy marocain, with a smart toque, and she carried a bouquet of beautiful crimson roses. Mrs. Whale, mother of the bridegroom, wore a becoming frock of a violet shade, with a small hat to tone. Her bouquet was of anemones and cyclamen. The bride travelled in a rust-coloured ensemble, with small hat of the same shade.
