Mrs. R. Ramsbotham, who has been in Wellington for the past live weeks, left yesterday for Picton, where she will spend a few- days. Mr. and Airs. W. Watson, nalswell Street, left Wellington last evening for Christchurch and Kaikoura. Commander Fletcher, ' R.N., H.M.S. Dunedin, and Mrs. Fletcher, who have spent some weeks in Wellington, left last evening for Blenheim, where they will be the guests of Mrs. Tcschemaker. ' Mrs. Stanley Wallena will arrive in Wellington on May 1 from Melbourne, and will spend six weeks in Wellington with her parents, Mr. and Mrs. W. E. A. Gill,' before leaving for her new homo in England. Miss Helen Whyte, Talavera Terrace, will leave on Tuesday evening to spend a fortnight in Christchureh. Mrs. M. Macdonald, Hill Street, ■ has let her house for three months, and loft last evening to stay with her daughter, Mrs. H. Y. Cameron, Auckland; . ■ Mr. and Mrs. Johnson, late of Lower Hutt, have returned to Hastings after spending Easter with Mr. and Mrs. C. Lamb, Lower Hutt. Miss Claudine Ahearn, Khandallah, is visiting Miss Betty Ellingham, Ormondville. Miss Constance Leatham, with Miss V. Ross, has returned to New Plymouth after spending. Easter in Wellington. Miss Ava Symons has left for New Plymouth' with Miss Leatham, and will give recitals there and at Hawera and Stratford. Miss Pamela Price, Gisborne, who has been visiting her aunt, Mrs. H. S. Lawrence, Christchurch, will arrive in Wellington on Tuesday and will play in the autumn foursomes golf tournament at Heretaunga with Miss Winnie BarnsGraham, Gisborne. Miss Jean Coleman, Ayonside, Christchurch, is spending a holiday in Wellington. Miss Marjorie McGowan, Kelburn, has returned from .Thames,1 where sho has been visiting her sister, Miss Nancy McGowan". Mr. and Mrs. Douglas McDonald, Christchurch, ■ who ■ have been the guests of the Rev. L. H. Hunt and Mrs. Hunt, Karori, have returned homo. Miss'lna Lees, Lower Hutt, is the guest of Mrs. B. Evans, Maungati, Timaru.
