FAREWELL PARTIES
AT MAYFAIR CABARET
The lounge of the Mayfair Cabaret was decorated with beautiful flowers yesterday evening, when a delightful "five o'clock" party was given by Miss Marguerite Levin, who will leave on Friday next by the Mataroa for England, after having spent some months in Wellington. On one table was a large bowl of flowers in red and tawny shades, and on the other table| were vivid red gerberas, dahlias, and . chrysanthemums. The cabaret orchestra played excellent dance music, and the guests danced in the smaller ballroom. Miss Levin wore a patterned chiffon frock in shades of rose and a widebrimmed hat of pin^: straw. She was . assisted by her brother, Mr. Charles | Levin, and Mrs. Levin, the latter wearing a long frock of beige lace and a ! small black felt hat. The guests included Mr. and Mrs.' Arthur Duncan, Mrs. 11. Vogcl, Mrs. W. E. Herbert, Mrs. and Miss Christo-, pliers, Misses Turton, Miss Nathan, Mr. and Mrs. J. Pearce, Captain A. L. Jackson, 8.N., Miss Eila Bristow, Mrs.' and Misses Whyte, Miss Harcourt, Miss Miles, Colonel 'N. S. Falla, Misses Grace Booth, Peggy Orbell, Yvonne Gibson, Cara Johnston, Audgry Williams (Maatcrton), Penelope Blundell, Jessie Elliott, Betty Herbert Monica Mai-, froy, Joyce Nathan, Nancy Hunt, Dinah Sloman, Mac Gilmer, Pamela Eiddiford, Heather arid Rosemary; Mackenzie, Isvay Digges-Srnith, Margaret.
