As to referees keeping"' their appointments the annual report stated that the past year was an excellent one. Mr. J. Graham, a member of the association, was awarded the New, Zealand badge. Lectures were Riven during the year by Messrs. A. E. Caisley and C- F. Ward. The balance-sheet showed a satisfactory position. Mr. C. F. Ward resigned after being president for five years, and was heartily thanked fnr his services. Officers were elected as. follows:—Patron, Mr., H.-Godber; president, Mr. E. W. Watts; vice-presidento, Messrs. W. Duncan, H. Tcaple, 11. Barnett, B. Martin, A. O'Lenry, C. Kelly, A. E. Caisley, ,G. Jackson, H. W. Smith. H. Yeoman, W. Hicks, F. Sanders, G. Hearne, D. Stirrat, B. Mabih; delegate to the W.F.A., Mr. F. O'Connell; delegate to the New Zealand Referees' Association, Mr. J. Sanderson; hon. auditor. Mr. B. Martin; hon. treasurer, Mr. N. Brian; hon. secretary, Mr. T. Plant; management committee, Messrs. G. Graham, A. E. Caisley. C, F. Ward, G. Forbes, and D. Stirrat.
