MURITAI SCHOOL SPORTS

, The Muritai school sports were held recently on the Recreation Ground at Eastbourne. Contests were between the Sanson and King Houses, all pupils from Standard II upward representing these houses in junior, intermediate, and senior grades. The boys had been specially trained in athletics by Mr. Heennn, sen., and the sports were run more on the lines of an athletic meeting, than of a school picnic. Mr. T. W. Leslie acted as starter, and members of the school committee j acted as officials.
