INTER-ISLAND RACE
The managers of the six provincial crews attended a special meeting of the Eogatta Club Inst night, and expressed themselves as well satisfied with the arrangements mado in connection with the interprovincial championship and inter-island, contests. The selectors of the South Island crew, Messrs. H. Berry (Canterbury), W. J. Wilson (Otago), and A. M. Hale (Marlborough) announced the selection of the following oarsmen:— G, Clark (Otago), str. P. H. Thompson. (Canterbury), No. 7. ■ F. Brough (Otago), No. 6. ■S. Cox (Marlborough), No. 5. L. Oldham (Marlborough), No. 4. ' J. D. Soloman (Otago), No. 3. C. Neilson (Otago), No. 2. H. L. Pritchard (Otago), bow. R. Mathieson (Otago), cox. The sole selector fo£ the North Island crew, Mr. A. Norden, chairman of the Auckland Rowing Council, is unable to make his selection until he has seen the Wanganui crow in action this afternoon.
