WEDDINGS
NEICH—FEEEMAN.
The wedding took place recently at St. Augustine's Church, Petone, of Elizabeth Kathleen, eldest daughter of Mr. and Mrs. S. Freeman, Petone, and Augustus Hugh, only son of Mr. -and Mrs. C. E. Neich, also of Petone. The Eev. G. V. Gerard officiated. Miss Hobbs played the wedding music.
Tho bride wore" a lovely gown of ' ivory' satin. Her bouquet was of lilies and chrysanthemums. The bridesmaid, Miss Lucy Freeman. . (sister of tho bride) wore a dainty frock of lemon organdi with blue'flower trimming, and a hat to match. Sho earned a bouquet of miniature dahlias, autumn berries, and leaves. Little Maureen Dorrian was flower girl. She wore an early Victorian frock of pale blue erepella: and carried a posy of daisies, .-utunm berries, and roses. ■ . Mr. Eric Hogg was best man. A. reception, was held in Waddington's Lounge,where the bride's mother, wearing a frock of navy marocain with touches of grey, received a large number of guests. She carried a spray of asters. The bridegroom's mother wore a frock of black crepe satin. Her posy was of red dahlias. ... When the bride and bridegroom left for a tour of the South Island, tho bride .'travelled in a.'delphinium blue astrachan coat with a grey frock and, hat to match.
