RECEIVING CHARGE

A remand until Thursday was granted by Mr. E. Page, S.M., at the Magistrate's Court today, in the case of Homleigh Wiltred Franks, a canvasser, aged 2a, who was Charged With receiving a quantity of clothing and a suitcase valued at £11 15s when he knew them to have been dishonestly obtained. i

When Mr. G. Joseph, counsel for the accused; asked for bail, Detective-Ser-geant Tricklebank said that it had been his intention to oppose bail.
