TELEPHONE TO WIFE' IN" ENGLAND

LONDON, March' 14. _ Mr. Alan. Monkhouse, one of those arrested, has telephoned his wife1 at Harpenden, Hertfordshire, from Moscow that he is safe and well.
It is reported that he has been released, but is not allowed to leave Moscow. % Another was released conditionatJV.
Altogether six Englishmen and twenty-five Russians, including one woman, were arrested. The two additional Englishmen are Messrs. Charles Nordwall and Gregory, both belonging to Vickers' staff. ' s
The." Manchester Guardian's" Moscow correspondent says that the Vickers Company's Leningrad offices were also Taided. The Soviet Press makes no mention of the affair.
