CHAIRMAN ARRESTED
HARRIMAN NATIONAL BANK
ALLEGED FALSE ENTRIES

NEW YORK, March 14. Joseph W. Harriman, chairman of the board of directors of the Harriman National Bank and Trust Company, was arrested on, Tuesday on a charge of having caused false entries to be made in the books' of the bank with intent to deceive tho Comptroller of Currency and his agents.
