A NEW INVENTION
A thousand people not long ago ■vratched Adrian Alvarez Ruiz, a Spanish railway man, sink to the bottom of the Casa de Campo Lake near Madrid in a special tank of his own designing. From the depths of the lake he sent to the surface tiny spheres containing messages of greeting to the Spanish President and others. This demonstration Tvas to prove the tank's use in saving life in sunken submarines, and one of the most important things is to be able to send messages or distress signals to the surface. The tank is self-raising and generates a constant supply of oxygen.
