TRAFFIC CONTROL
VISIT OF SOUTHERN CROSS
In anticipation of very busy car traffic to the aerodrome during the visit of Sir Charles Kingsford Smith in the Southern Cross, spe.cial arrangements have been made for the- control of traffic at and in the vicinity of the aerodrome.
From 11 a.m. to 6 p.m. on Friday, Saturday, and Sunday, Kingsford Smith Street, and Lyall Bay Parade will be closed to ordinary traffic. Parking will be prohibited in Coutts Street, from Hobart Street to.Tirangi Eoad, in part of Eongotai Terrace where directed by the traffic officials, Kingsford Smith Street, and Lyall Bay Parade from Moa Point to Onepu Eoad. Parking will be permitted on portion of the Becreation Reserve, the .entrance being via Onepu Eoad and Lyall Bay Parade.
The Southern Cross is expected to arrive at Eongotai at about 5 p.m. on Friday. .
