(Eeceived February 25, 2 p.m.) "\ LONDON, February 24. " The "Daily Express" has appointed General ("One Arm.") Button as'war correspondent at ■ Jehol. Ho lost an. arm at Gallipoli. ' It waß amputated without an anaesthetic with three men sitting on him. . He went to China in search of adventure after the war, arriving practically penniless. Marshal Chang Tso-Lin, then the chief war lord of Northern China; employed him to reorganise' the arsenals, and within a' year the Eed menace in Northern China! was crushed. He had then amassed a fortune. .General Button has now left for Peking, going thither through mountain passes on a motor-lorry, which is fully armed_ so as to deal with bandits. The lorry is carrying a large neutral flag on its roof as a protection from Japanese aeroplanes. . v
