In the House of Commons, Mr. North moved in favour of bringing,all greyhound tracks under the control of the Betting Control Board, legalising totalisators, and' limiting the number, of race meetings. ■ The Hon. Oliver Stanley, on behalf of the Government, admitted that there was considerable anxiety in regard to the growth-of tote clubs. The Royal Commission had been1 asked to present.an interim report on the question of totalisators.
