Tho "Herald" | says: ' ' The ; Englishmen definitely have proved their superiority during the series, and the captaincy of Jardine has been a match-winning factor." Kippax says: "Larwood was the dominating factor, but great credit is due to Jardine for the way he handled the team." Bradman said: "Apart from the second Test, the Australians were always underneath. Let us bo fair by saying 'The better side won.' "
