■■ ' SYDNEY, February 16. :At-:the.;.iWopl sales- today 11,714 bales ■were offered, of which 9723 were sold at auction, 1455 being disposed of privately. The market closed firm. Competition came.principally from the Yorkshire and Continental sections. Greasy merino made:up to 20d. , The average price of the wool sold during the first three days of this week was £11 0s 9d per bale, or 8.69 d per lb.
