SANDERS CUP
CREWS GO SOUTH
The Lavina, Wellington,'s representative boat in the Sanders Cup races, which commence at Lyttelton on Wednesday, was shipped South on Saturday evening, and the crew to man her also left for Lyttelton. The regular skipper of the Lavina, N. Blair, will have charge' of the boat, and his crew consists of C. Hollis (mainsheet hand), K. Wilsson (spinnaker hand), and W. J. Martin (extra spinnaker hand), who have been sailing with him for the past four years; J. Shearer (heavyweight), who has sailed in the' Lavina in the trials and at the Paremata Regatta during the past two years; also J. Coleman and J. Nolan, who are also local representatives selected for the Cofnwell Cup contest. Both the latter will be at Lyttelton in any case, and it will be convenient to.have them available as lightweights, . Mr. 0. A. Moller, one of the delegates to the conference at Lyttelton, has been at Lyttelton in connection with the Cornwell Cup races, and Mr. B. J. L. Jukes, another delegate, will leave for the South to-night. The Auckland crew for the Sanders Cup left Wellington for Lyttelton on Saturday evening.
