WAINGAWA KILLINGS
(By Telegraph.) (Special to "The Evening Post.") MASTEKTON, This Day. Striking evidence of the success of the chain system, and of tho rapid progress the men employe^ at the Waingawa works have made of late, is contained in the fact that on. Friday last 6150 sheep and lambs were slaughtered This figure established a record for a day's killings at Waingawa. It is confidently expected, an officia! of Messrs. T. Borthwick and Sons stated yesterday, that this ' total will be bettered next week. The men are improving all the time, ho said, and were really jus.fr getting going. It was , hoped to do 6300 yesterday.
