BROADCAST REQUEST

SEARCH FOR HINKLER

The Air Ministry has broadcast a request to France, Italy, and Switzerland for regular fliers, to keep a sharp look out for Squadron-Leader Hinkler,' and has similarly, telegraphed to Turkey and Bulgaria. Captain W. "L. Hope has announced that he is wiling to search the Alps personally and bear half the cost if others will raise the balance. Mr. Arthur Whitelaw and several Australian firms have promised to contribute to tho expenses of a search.
