The Westport Municipal Band paraded the main street .and also played for the dancing on the green in Victoria Square. ' 'the Fire Brigade held a midnight banquet, and Messrs. H. E. Holland, M'.P.jF. Morgan, superintendent, and others made public speeches. The Blackball pipers, visiting Westport for the Caledonian ball and a special "Ingleside,"' also added to the gaiety of the festivities.
