SHOCKING ACCIDENT
CHILD'S FEET CUT OFF
CAUGHT IN MOWING
MACHINE

CARTERTON, This Day.
A shocking accident was reported from Dalefield yesterday afternoon as a result of which Keith, the. two-and-a-half-year-old son of Mr. "W. A. Hooper, had both feet cut off by a mower.
Mr. Hooper was cutting green oats, which on account of the splendid season are very high. The little chap was completely hidden and was caught in the machine, both feet being severed at the ankles.
He was immediately rushed to a private hospital, and is in a weak condition through loss of blood and shock.
