RONGOTAI COLLEGE
CAPS AND CUP PRESENTED
Members of the Kongotai -College first eleven were presented with their cricket caps this morning by Mrs. H.E. Avery, president of the Ladies' Auxiliary of the Kongotai College Parents' Association. Another presentation was that or the Avery Cup, given by Noel Avery, until' recently head prefect, and to be won by the form with the best record at the school sports, based on the percentage of entries for the various events, the places gained, and the number finishing. This cup was won by Form' 10, the lowest form in the college. An- announcement was made at the function that the Ladies' Auxiliary would be paying 'the sum of £35 into the gymnasium fund before the end of the year.
