Business deferred from the annual meeting was dealt with by the New Zealand Amateur Cycling Council'last evening. Mr. H. I. Austad presided. ' Others present W.. McVilly, G, I-lurri-£i V^n- McC°nchic, and L.\A. Tracy. lug following ofheers were elected for the next twelve months:-Chairman, My. n. 1. Austad; hon. secretary, Mr. L. A lracy; delegates to N.Z.A.A.A. Council, Messrs C. W. McConchie and-G. Harrison; delegates to New Zealand • Cycling federation, Messrs. C. H. Taylor and H D. London, of Christchurch. ■The question;o£ inviting/Duncan Gray, the Australian and Olympic . champion cyclist, to make a tour of New Zealand early next y^ar was discussed briefly The' view was-put forward that circumstances were against such a■ proposition this season, and_it was decided to take no action.
