PIGEON RACING
The Upper Hutt Pigeon Club held two races on Saturday. The following are the results:—From Napier (152 miles): A. T. Gnffia's Chieftain (810.98 yds per minute). 1; A. T. Griffin's Blue Boy (810 76), 2F. Moulder's Dollar Boy (509.87), 3; W Casey's Stayaway (506.05), 4. From Dannevirke (86 miles): A. llountier's Love Court (788.89 yds per minute)., 1; F. Moulder's Dollar Prince (755.06), 2; A T Griffin's* Dainty Ways (754.97). 3; A. T. Griffin's ■ Cuddles (754.55), 4. Next week a race ivill be flown from Ohakune. The County High School girls at Leytonstone, Essex, have raised £1000 for a swimming bath to commemorate the jclaool's coming. 2$ age.
