Approximately:;s639 bales' were sold. Home and Continental competition was good at full rates, greasy crossbreds tending.in sellers', favour. Realisations were:— New Zealand-greasy:- crossbred, "JGL/K, highest B^ad, average- *7%d; half bred, "Mangaroa/'i highest 10d,^ average 9%d; halfbred lamb slip1 c, "Balclutha," 11% d.-.'
