■» ACHIMOTA'S NEW NAME It is freely rumoured in Australian shipping circles that the 10,000-ton motorliner Achimota, which the Huddart, Parker Company is expected to purchase, will be renamed the Campaspe, after the river of that name in Victoria. The Achimota was finished last year by Harland and Wolff, but was not taken delivery of -by her owners, the British and African Steam Navigation Co. (Elder Dempster, and Co., Ltd., managers), and the Huddart-Parker Company entered ipto negotiations for her purchase. It is expected that the Achimota will enter the trans-Tasman service early next year, replacing the Zealahdia.
