TYMERIC REFOLATED
NO DAMAGE FROM GROUNDING
(By Telegraph.—Press Association.) WANGANUI, 18th September. The Bank Line steamer Tymeric, of 5228 tons gross, which ran her nose on to a sandbank inside tho moles at the entrance to the.Wanganui River on Saturday morning,, was refloated undamaged at 10.30 on Saturday night, half.au hour before the tide reacted its height. The Wanganui Harbour Board tug Kahanui rendered valuable aid, and during, the day the vessel was kept in a safe position. • - The mishap occurred as the Tymoric, which had a cargo of 3700 tons of phospate rock for Kompthorne, Prosser, and Co., Ltd., was entering to berth for unloading .at the Castlecliff wharf, one was drawing seventeen feet of water at the time of grounding, and was keeping as far as possible toward the south mole when entering the port, in order to avoid a south-easterly wind which was blowing broadside on.
