BOY DIES OF INJURIES

McCabe, a gas worker, living at 10 bomerset avenue, received abrasions to his left forearm and hand as the result of being knocked down by a motor-cycle at the intersection of Wilson and Owen streets shortly before 8 o'clock on Satur■fe*n"lgh^' The d"ver of the motor-cycle, ,\\ llliam Costley, was unhurt, but a pillion rider, Miss H. Moncrieff, of 35, Brougham street, received injuries to her. right leg. Mr. McCabe and Miss Moncrieff were taken to Hospital.

• DUNEDIN, 31st July. __A _ three-year-old boy named Robert William Davidson, whose parents reside at Otokia, was knocked down by a motor-car on Saturday afternoon and was admitted to hospital in Duucdin suffering from severe head injuries. He died just after midnight.
