.' (To the^Editor.) v; ' Sir,v-Why all tins condemnation of the toll system for.the Paremata bridge? Is it. possible that; its obstructionists have not heard .jthat the motorists using the ; Sydney Harbour- Bridge :pay tolls; that the Brisbane Bridge.which. Dorman Long's have offered to build is .also to be on the toll ./system,; arid last but not least— tnat the Auckland, Harbour Bridge is being built with t)ie end in view of tolls being collected to pay for it. Not desiring to set myself up as an expert in political economics (in its most strict interpretation), I ask the reason for the opposition.—l am, etc., PROGRESS.
