(To the Editor.)
Sir,—As we are passing through suclt a bad time in consequence of the prevailing depression, I feel feure you will, allow me to ask you to permit the following to appear in your widely-read paper:— Some fifteen months ago wa needed another piano for our use on the four days of the week, and secured one from a wellwisher for £30. The piano removed from the platform has been on sale for the whole of the period named above. We purpose, if you will allow it, asking your readers to scud in gifts, large or email, and when we reach the sum aimed at (£l2) we will send the piano out to Akatarawa Camp, where there are men who •would be helped to spend cheery evenitfgs. Thanking you very warmly for all you do for our work. —I am, etc., JAS. MdORE, Missioner.
