Denise, who figures in the Levels Hack Handicap, one mile and So yards, at Washdyke to-morrow, is a three-year-old filly oy Cisterican, and was purchased aa a yearling in"Australia, 'She is .trained by T. 3. Ellis at Washdyke, and at the Oamaru Sleeting last Apiil won the Novice Stakes, fire furlongs, and at the South Canterbury Meeting m Hoy \vaa third in the Claiemont Hack Hindicdp, six. furlongs, to Fearsome and Brown Peari. She may not be quite solid enough to run out thei'disfeaicd to-morrow, but she is a promising sort.
