ESPERANTO CLUB
The weekly meeting of the Wellington Esperanto Club was held on Tuesday evening in tho V.M.C.A.,. Mr. Bertram Potts presiding. With: the exception of the beginners, the members formed themselves into" a question and answer circle. Tho beginners' class was conducted by Mr. E. C. Jack. The following programme occupied the latter part of the evening:— "Some Amusing Superscriptions," Mr. Jack; "The Unknown America;" part of a series of lectiirettes by Mr. L. E. Dust; an entertaining comedy entitled "Aunt Martha Comes to" Stay," presented by Miss C. Smythson, Messrs. B. Potts, "V. Leek, and L. E. Dust. The club librarian acknowledged receipt of a parcel of Esperanto literature given by Mr. G. Gordon, F.8.E.A., of Christchurch, whose work as a translator is widely known,
