DEATH OF MR. FREDRIC

The death occurred recently of the Stratford sportsman Mr. J. W. Fredric, who died at his home after a fairly long jillness. Mr. Fredric was a good sup- ■ porter of 'racing, and he had generally had a horse or two in work. Probably the best- performer he owned was Seatown, who won,- among other good races, the Mitchelson Cup in 1930 and the Cornwall Handicap twice.
