Asked if the Government had £ormu» lated a definite policy on. colonial trade for submission to the Ottawa Conference, the Under-Secretary, for the Colonies, Sir Bobert Hamilton, said in. the House of Commons to-day that.the Minister for the Colonies had been ia consultation with all the colonial Governments and representatives in Britaia of various colonial trade .interests. As a result of these discussions a number, of proposals had already been submitted to the Colonial Empire, and- the Dominion Governments had been in^ vited to state what .adjustments of colonial customs tariffs would be of real value to.-them. -.: r •;■' '.'■-■■ ■ ! - T)'
