An exceptionally, large gathering •of members-.of the Wellington-football Clvb1 last evening gave- an enthusiastic farewell to the three members-of the'club'included m; this gear's New Zealand team—Fi D Eilby. H. F. McLean, and^ J. R. Page. Keferences . were made to the fact that the club "had every, reason to feel, proud at having three New Zealand representatives at. the one time, and, more so, at the honour in having F. D. Kilby as the first member of the club to captain an i All Black team.' Fine tributes • were paid to the chosen players, to each of whom a presentation was made by Mr. J. Murray on behalf of the club.
