ART UNIONS
THE GROUPING SYSTEM
TO, BE CONTINUED
(By Telegraph.—Press Association.)
CHBISTCHURCH, This Day.
The grouping system of conducting art unions is to be continued, accordingj to a statement made- by the Minister of Internal Affairs (tho-Hon; A. Hamilton) this morning. Mr. Hamilton said it was intended to continue art unions under the restricted conditions already announced. The grouping system would be continued, the share given to;any particular organisation in an art union depending on the merits of its claim. Of coarse all applicants were anxious 'to receive large sums of money, but 'then -who fwas not?' Any organisation nowadays receiving say £1000 could count itself very fortunate. . ." ~.
