A vote of £20 wasmade by the Wellington' Fire Board to-day io tho fire brigade recreation fund. for the purchase of a wireless-set'-for the Constable street station and the supply of shelving and cupboards for a lib-' rary at the Central station. It was decided to point out that the City Library's .facilities should be availed of for reading matter to obviate unnecessary expenditure.
