Sir, —In your report of the meeting-of the Wellington School Committees and Educational Federation, held on the 13th inst., 'appeared a, statement by. Mr. Ingram, organising secretary of,the federation, to the effect that a boy' had been punished for'attending a.school boys' Soccer football trial on a Friday afternoon.: I am directed by the Wellington Primary ■ Schools Headmasters'. -Association to say that the statement has no reference to any Wellington primary school. I shall be obliged if you mil publish this letter.— I am, etc.,
