FINE OF £10 IMPOSED
Refusal to 'give a ranger his name and address, and the presenting of a shot-gun to avoid being searched resulted in Thomas Gqllop, of Paekakariki, being charged at the Magistrate's Court to-day with obstructing Thomas Andrews, a ranger, employed by the Acclimatisation Society. The defendant pleaded guilty. i

In reply to a request by counsel, the' Magistrate ordered the money to be paid in. four weekly instalments.
