SPORTS GROUND CHARGES
The use of the Basin Keservo was granted by the City Council last night to the Wellington Football Association for the remainder of the present football season at 20 per cent, of tho gross gate takings' and 50 per cent, of the gross stand takings, plus a cash payment of £100. ■'-.-.
An application from the Wellington Hockey Association for a reduction in the charge levied for the use of the grounds at Newtown Park, . Tanera crescent, and Kilbirnie Park was not approved.
