VOLUNTEER FIRE POLICE
A proposal is afoot in Auckland to establish a volunteer fire police corps along similar lines to that which has been active in Wellington for .many years. At to-day's meeting o£ the Wellington Five Board, the secretary, Mr. El. S. Fairchild, said lie had received an inquiry from the Superintendent o£ the Auckland brigade as to the constitution and duties of the corps, and he had replied giving full information.
