REPLACED BY PAGE
another change has been made in the New Zealand .Rugby teaam which leaves .for Australia to-morrow, R. Williams, of Hawkes Bay, who was selected as a wing-three-quarter, has been suffering from a knee injury, and as ; a result of his experience ,in, the match yesterday he entertained _some doubt as to whether he Would be sound enough to go on the tour. A medical examination of the injury, was made to-day; and, ;as the report was not favourable, Williams dropped out of the New Zealand team. In filling the vacancy the New Zealand selectors evidently considered the; advisability of giving \ added strength, to the, inside backs, of whom only three*, were five-eighths. It was an--nounced. this afternoon that'J; R. Page (Wellington) had been chosen to fill the vacancy.: This season Page has shown his versatility by playing in all positions from naif-back to centre-three-quarter.
