HALF-TIME RULE
STRONG DISAPPROVAL

CHRISTCHURCH, 15th June.
' Strong disapproval of the rule which requires teams not to leave the field of play at half-time was expressed at the half-yearly meeting of delegates of the- Canterbury Rugby Union to-night. The meeting decided to send.a motion of protest to the New Zealand Union. A motion was submitted that all teams be allowed to leave the field, but the chairman said he was unable to accept it.
