JOHN 15th June. | Tho state of parties, in the New--foundland .election is now:— Opposition ............. 23 , Government 2 Independent ........... 1 Incomplete 1 This is regarded as the most pronounced expression of opinion ever recorded at Newfoundland eloctions. The Opposition polled more than 70 per cent, ,of the ■ entire vote. Twelve Government and two Independent candidates lost their deposits.
