LEWISHAM HOSPITAL GARDEN
For some months past a number of >• willing helpers of the Sisters of Lewisham Hospital have been preparing for a garden fete to assist them in the carrying on of their great and self-sacrificing work for the sick. Since its completion two and a half years ago, Lewisham Hospital has become one of the recognised Wellington ~ institutions for the relief of suffering humanity. The success which has attended the work of this highly- efficient and up-to-date hospital has proved, the quality of the skilled nursing and devoted attention of the Sisters. The garden fete will be held in the -' Lewisham grounds to-morrow afternoon; ■ and evening. A large number of attract ■-, tions have been prepared for the'enjoyment of the . friends of the Reverend • Mother and Sisters, who extend a' verj' cordial invitation to their friends to-b« present. ■"--.. - . < .
