;_ Five galloping meetings are to be held in the -Dominion this week, and they •will provide fare for racegoers in nearly every province. Of most interest to Wellington sportsmen will.be the Tnranaki Jockey Club's Autumn Meeting on Thursday and Saturday, and the Marlbprough Racing. .Club's Sumnier Sleeting on Friday and Saturday. The other meetings 'are the Dunedjn Jockey Club's Autumn Meeting and the Poverty Bay Turf Club's Summer Meeting, oh Thursday and Saturday, and ,the first day of the. Eotorua Racing Club's Annual Meeting on Saturday. The lastnamed fixture will be concluded next Monday. There are no trotting meetings this week.
